WEEL Technologies Launches Portfolio Company

WEEL Innovations is born
NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK, June 12, 2018 The WEAR 2018 Conference was the backdrop for WEEL Technologies latest announcement. WEEL, one of the world’s leading manufacturer of Wearable Electronics announced the launch of a new business entity called “WEEL Innovations”. WEEL Innovations will license a portfolio of technologies and whole products from WEEL Technologies and soon to be announced technology partners that focus specifically on Wearable Electronics solutions. Some of the technologies currently in the portfolio include: MOCAS Smart Apparel (3D motion capture shirts and pants), Textile Data Cables (stretch and non-stretch conductive textile cables that can be repeatedly washed and stitched into place), Carbon Fiber Textile Heaters (for integration into soft-goods), Stretch Sensors (for measuring body and muscle movement) and various washable sensor housings. The WEEL Innovations portfolio is available to manufacturers and brands throughout the world.

WEEL Technologies celebrated their 10th Anniversary in January 2018. Since 2008, WEEL has designed and manufactured electronics that have been integrated into shirts, pants, shoes, backpacks, gloves and other apparel items for many of the world’s leading brands.
